Obituary for Brent James Smith
Brent James Smith, 36 of Clinton Rd. Antrim, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by his family at the Elliott Hospital on October 4, 2020 at 7:01 AM. Brent put up a strong fight but eventually succumbed to his severe health conditions.

Brent James Smith was born February 6, 1984, in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The son of Murray Brent James Smith and Pamela Jean (Brissette) Voorhees. Brent was raised in Antrim/Bennington by his mother Pamela and stepdad Chris. He attended Conval school district where he graduated from Conval regional high school, the class of 2002.

Brent enjoyed many of the things that life had to offer. He loved wrestling as a youngster. You could always find him cheering his family members on from the sidelines of wrestling matches and football games. He was their number one fan. He was also an avid lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.

Brent’s greatest accomplishments in life started and ended with his family and making a family of his own with the love of his life and soul mate Christina. Brent loved going for long car rides to have talking time with Christina; they were inseparable. Together they shared all the joys and love he had ever wanted with their three children Myles, Lilly, and Isaac. He could often be found coaching his own children with sports and helping with lots of nightly homework assignments. In his free time, Brent enjoyed 4-wheeling, swimming, going to the YMCA and Sunday football. Near & dear to Brents heart was also his little dog Deedee, she was always with him.

Brent James is survived by his wife Christina Rose Clough Smith; their three children, Myles Ivan Clough, Lillian Rose Clough, and Isaac Mitchell Clough Of Antrim, NH; his mother Pamela Jean (Brissette)Voorhees and step father Christopher Voorhees of Bennington; his même Jeannette Ida Brissette of Deering; his grandparents John & Roberta Voorhees of Antrim; his sisters Sarah Voorhees of Concord, Angelina Viana of Savannah, Georgia, Shawna Voorhees of Antrim, Kendra Voorhees of Bennington, and Jade Smith of Vermont; his brothers Christopher Voorhees of Bennington and Johnny Voorhees of Bennington; his mother in-law Sharon Howard Mello of Bennington; sister-in-law Angela Howard of Barnstead; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brent was predeceased by his father Murray Brent James Smith, his pepe Neal Robert Brissette, his Uncle Christopher Neal Brissette, his cousin Christopher Neal Brissette ll, and his father in-law John Mello.

A funeral mass will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Peterborough, New Hampshire Saturday, October 24 at 11 AM. A burial at Saint Charles cemetery on Shed Rd in Hillsborough NH to follow. There will also be a celebration of life held The following day October 25 from 1 - 5 PM at The American Legion post 59 in Hillsborough, NH. All are welcome to attend.
