Daniel J. O’Rourke, 56, of Jaffrey, NH, passed away unexpectedly at work on Monday October 25, 2021. He was born March 14, 1965.

Daniel, was a very good hearted man, with a huge heart. He loved to laugh, and he would do anything for any one. He was engaged to be married this year to Lisa Bailey, his girlfriend of 10 years. The whole family really liked Daniel alot ,along with his fiancés children and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors, and wanted to move near the mountains of NH next year. He also enjoyed ,and loved his cat snuggles that he shared with his girlfriend. He and the cat were very close. He enjoyed watching movies, playing games on his phone, and taking a long drive in the country. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word .He opened and closed doors for his girlfriend ,and he would not allow the lady he loved to lift more than 2 bags. He was always seen holding his girlfriends hand everywhere they went, and loved unconditionally. His smile would light up a room. He enjoyed music, and sitting and talking. He worked as a maintenance Technician, and really liked his job alot, he worked at Greenville Falls in Greenville NH, where the elderly lived. The residents there liked Daniel alot, he was always kind and gentle. He also would get up in the morning get ready for work, then he would set the coffee maker up for his girlfriend, empty the trash, then go downstairs to kiss his girl friend, and tell her he would text her when he got to work ,give her a kiss and head out to work he would also text when he was leaving work he never missed a text.
The morning of his death, he had sent his girlfriend a final text saying that he loved her and missed her already, and wished her a wonderful day ,and that he would see her when he got home, the text was sent at 7:20am. By the time his girlfriend saw the text, she sent one back to him, then found out he was on the floor unresponsive at work.
He is going to be missed by so many. He was fun and very loving. He always dressed very nice and had good taste in what he wore. We are going to miss him so very much, the type of man he was, is very hard to find, he was one of a kind. his girlfriend called him her sweet sweet man because he was just that. I think God saw he was sick and called him home to become one of his angels. We all love you, and will miss you very much fly high , sweet sweet man
