Obituary for Fred R. Ramsey Jr.
Fred R. Ramsey Jr., 91, of Milford, NH, passed away at home on Wednesday June 29, 2022. He was born October 17, 1930, in Wakefield, NH, to parents Fred and Edna (Curry) Ramsey.
Fred served in the Army for eight years. He was stationed in Korea for 18 months and spent most of his service stationed in Germany. He went on to work as a truck driver and spent most of his career at EdgeComb Steel in Nashua. When his sons were growing up, he helped coach their baseball teams. In his free time, Fred enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Fred is survived by his sons Richard Ramsey and his wife Jennifer of Lyndeborough, NH, Brain Ramsey and his wife Jennifer of Pembroke, NH; his grandchildren Nicholas, Gabrielle, Brooke, and Riley.
He is predeceased by his wife Harriet (Fairchild) Ramsey who passed away in 2020.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside cemetery in Milford, NH at a future date.
