Obituary for Jake Cameron Bourdon
Jake Cameron Bourdon, 25, of Wilton, NH passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was born, October 27, 1995 in Derry, NH to parents Bruce and Robin (Jones) Bourdon. Jake grew up in Wilton, attending Florence Rideout Elementary School then going on to attend Wilton Co-Op High School as well. As a child, he played “pee-wee” football for two years with the Amherst and Milford “Patriots” teams. He also played basketball and eventually went on to play for his high school’s team. In addition, Jake played baseball with the annual Wilton area recreational teams. One of his most loved passions was flying. He soloed for the first time at Boire field in Nashua, NH on April 7th, 2012. He was certified and received his Private Pilot’s license on the 29th of March 2019. Jake was an aspiring commercial pilot. He loved taking his parents on flights and enjoyed taking pictures and filming videos while he was in the air. In the future he had hoped to attend the University of North Dakota to further his studies. When he wasn’t flying, Jake loved the outdoors. He enjoyed kayaking on the local ponds and lakes and was an overall outdoorsman. He loved animals too, especially his two German Shepherds, Nika and Kaiser. Jake was an all around great person who loved to help others and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Jake is survived by his parents Bruce and Robin Bourdon of Wilton, NH; his sister Jamie Lynne Bourdon of Wilton, NH; his grandparents Robert and Ann Jones of Plaistow, NH; and his aunts Kim Jones of Plaistow, NH and Judith Schmit of Grayslake, IL. Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at The Michaud Funeral Home 32 Maple Street Wilton, NH on Saturday December 26, 2020 from 1-3 pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm. A burial will be held at Vale End Cemetery in Wilton, NH on Monday May 3, 2021 at 10am. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
