Obituary for Janice Blease
Janice Blease, 88, of Greenville, NH, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at UMass Memorial Hospital, in Leominster, MA. She was born on May 26, 1929, in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Albert P. MacCracken and Gertrude (Haywood) MacCracken.
Janice worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, yard saling, and collecting purple glass. She was a resident of Greenville, NH, since January of 1951. She was a Greenville Municipal Court Clerk in 1987 until its closure in 2000. Janice graduated from Leominster High School in 1947 and attended Grossmont College in San Diego, CA.
Janice is survived by her sons, Steven J. Blease and his wife, Dixie, of New Ipswich, NH, and Scott A. Blease, of Greenville, NH, her daughter, Tena M. Goen and her husband, Andrew, of Jaffrey, NH, her grandchildren, Nicole Blease, of Boca Raton, FL, Steven Blease, of Braintree, MA, Julia Blease, of Manchester, NH, Stephanie Lamothe, of Peterborough, NH, Sarah Goen, of Jaffrey, NH, Andrew Goen, Jr. of Silver Spring, MD, Everett Goen, of Jaffrey, NH, Emily Walden, of New Ipswich, NH, Abbey McCreery, of Wilton, NH, Molly McCreery, of Greenville, NH, Michael Blease, of Manchester, NH, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Janice also leaves behind her devoted friend and companion, Frank Barlow of New Ipswich, NH. She is predeceased by her daughter, Ellen J. McCreery, her brother, Albert MacCracken, and a grandchild, Amanda Franks.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to The Franks Family Fund c/o Andrew Franks at TD Bank.
All are warmly invited to calling hours on Saturday, March 10, 2018 , from 1pm-4pm, at Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH, immediately followed by a service in the Michaud Funeral Home chapel.
