JoAnn Dick, 67, longtime resident of Rindge, NH and Wilton NH, died on August 17, 2023 at Pheasant Wood Nursing home after a period of declining health.
She was the daughter of the late Robert E Dick and Lillian G (Edwards) Dick.
In addition to her parents, JoAnn was predeceased by her brother Robert E Dick, Jr and step mother Elizabeth K (Burke) Dick.
JoAnn was raised and educated in Wilton, NH and graduated from Wilton-Lyndeborough High School and attended St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Practical Nursing and received her LPN.
For many years she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and loved Nursing and caring for people. She also held positions in various Dr’s offices and Nursing homes throughout her career.
In the mid 70’s through the early 80’s JoAnn was a volunteer with the Wilton-Lyndeborough Ambulance Service.
JoAnn had a love of ice skating, (she was quite accomplished), knitting, quilting, sewing and any type of crafting. She loved the ocean and went on several retreats to the coast of Maine and had a trip of her lifetime to Hawaii. Her greatest loves were her niece Haley and nephew Parker – and she did many things with them when they were young. And then best of all she became a Great Aunt to Haley’s twin boys and they became everything to her.
Survivors include her brother Raymond A Dick and his wife Lori of Wilton, niece Haley (Dick) and Francis Coffey of Milford, nephew Parker Dick of Wilton and great nephews Levi and Gavin, several cousins and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 10:30am at Miller Cemetery in Temple NH – all are welcome
