Obituary for Keith Dwire
Keith Dwire, 64, of Lyndeborough, NH, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, at his home in Lyndeborough, NH. He was born on February 2, 1954, in Wichita Falls, TX, the son of Ralph and Helen (Corey) Dwire.
Keith was an honor student from first grade through senior year of high school. He went on to college to study architecture and founded Precise Tool and Die Co. A master craftsman, Keith was very particular in his work and was known as a perfectionist. He was magnificent at working with wood and metal. If you hired Keith for the job, it was going to be done the right way the first time. He’ll be remembered for his incredible artwork including painting spectacular murals and portraits. Keith was also benevolent with town projects, donating his own time and money to the town libraries of Wilton and Lyndeborough. Even though Keith was known as a quiet guy, a man of few words, he had a big heart, and if you needed anything he was the guy that was right there to lend a helping hand. Keith’s hobbies included playing bridge, achieving the rank of National Master and rock climbing. He was a member of TKT (Team Kinda Tuff ), a rock climbing club, for about six years. When Keith passed away so suddenly and unexpectedly, he was in the process of restoring the Wilton Library’s bookcases. Keith is survived by his parents, Ralph and Helen Dwire, of Lyndeborough, NH; his brother, Owen and his wife, Carol Dwire, of Nebo, NC; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Wilton Library, to help finish the bookcases that Keith was in the process of restoring. Family and friends are warmly welcome to calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH, 03086, on Sunday, December 30, 2018, from 3pm-5pm.
