Obituary for Kristin M. Boudreau
Kristin M. (Despathy) Boudreau, 40, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday evening, October 27, 2017, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. Kristin went home to be with Jesus after an arduous and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Nashua, NH, on October 13, 1977, to Patricia (Sullivan) Despathy and James Despathy. Kristin was a graduate of West High School, class of 1996. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2000. In 2005, she bought Rheault Photographers and lived out her artistic passion, photographing the beauty of life. In 2008, she married the love of her life, Craig Boudreau.
Kristin’s sense of humor and exuberance for life were known by all who came into contact with her. She loved spending time with family and especially her husband Craig. One of her favorite places to be was White Horse Beach, in Plymouth, MA, where she spent summers as a child. She was a nature lover and enjoyed hiking with Craig. Her dogs were a special part of her life; she was always wanting to rescue those who needed a home. She often could be found creating new art and trying new techniques with beautiful results. She was an avid cook, a lover of good music, and had the desire to help anyone in need. Kristin will always be remembered for her infectious smile, her love for life and her heart of a warrior.
Kristin is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Craig, her devoted parents, Jim and Pat Despathy, her brother and hero, Michael Despathy and his wife Alison, and their children Miles, Nate and Molly of VT, her paternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Leatrice Despathy, of AZ, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who had the privilege of sharing in Kristin’s life. She was dearly loved and will forever be our wonder woman.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
