Obituary for Linda Dold
Linda Dold, 74, of Somerville, MA, passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born June 5, 1947, in Charlestown, MA to parents Peter and Alice (Stone) Melanson.

Family was very important to Linda, and she loved spending time with her mom and her late husband Robert “Bobby” Dold. Linda and Bobby were both lifetime members of the Danvers Fish and Game Club where they both enjoyed target shooting. Linda also liked doing crafts with her mom and the two of them often went on weekend trips, something they both enjoyed.

Linda is survived by her brothers, Joe Campbell and his wife Ginny of VA, Peter Melanson Jr. and his wife Leslie of VA, Stephen Melanson and his wife Yolanda of VA, Paul Melanson and his wife Karen of MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Dold who passed in 2015 and her sister, Alice “Queenie” Stone.

A private family burial will be held at Puritan Lawn cemetery in Danvers, MA at a later date.
