Obituary for Mark E. Taylor
Mark E. Taylor, 68, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2017, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after his battle with kidney cancer. He was born November 12, 1948, in Dover, NH, to Marcus and Theresa (St. Laurent) Taylor.

Mark was a 1966 graduate of Dover High School and a 1970 graduate of Keene State College in Keene, NH. In 1978, he received an MBA from Southern New Hampshire College. Mark served proudly in Operation Iraqi Freedom from May 2006 to June 2007 as part of the 108th Division out of Charlotte, NC. He was a Lieutenant Colonel of the 94th ARCOM Army Reserve unit at Fort Devens, MA.

Mark enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, fishing, good food, especially his mother’s cooking, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, watching Red Sox games, volunteering to help veterans, and spending time with his friends at the American Legion. He cared deeply for his loved ones.

Mark is survived by his son Derek, daughter-in-law Daragh, and grandsons Ethan and Noah; his daughter Sarah, son-in-law Dan, grandson Ian, and granddaughter Greta; the mother of his children, Karen Taylor; his sister Tracey Taylor Lupien and his brother-in-law Kevin Lupien; Mark was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Terry Taylor.

Mark did not wish to have a formal funeral. Family, friends, and others whose lives Mark touched are invited to Fratello’s Italian Grille, 155 Dow Street in Manchester, NH, from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, November 25th, to reminisce and enjoy food and drink. Donations in Mark’s memory may be made to a veterans’ organization of your choice.
