Obituary for Matthew J. Comeau, Sr.
Matthew J Comeau Sr. of Greenville, NH passed away Thursday April 15, 2021 at home peacefully with his family. He was born in Chelsea, MA to Edgar (deceased) and Thomasina Comeau, on February 23, 1971.
Matthew graduated from Mascenic Regional High School in the class of 1990. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, sports fan and had a love for music. Matthew was a member of Squadron 13 for 45 years. He was the past District Commander of the Sons of the American Legion District 2, the Squadron 13 Commander, the Past Adjutant, and spent many years on the Post 13 Honor Guard. Family was very important to Matthew and he loved spending quality time with his kids and grandchildren as well as his dog Rosco. He and his family spent every summer vacation up in York, ME..
Matthew loved Rock and Roll. At his request, please dress casually and wear your favorite band tee shirt!
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple Street in Wilton, NH on Friday April 23, from 4-7pm. We kindly ask that everyone in attendance wear a mask and follow all social distancing protocols in place. A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 13, 13 River Street, Greenville, NH on Saturday April 24, from noon to 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Matthew’s name to The American Cancer Society.
