Robert W. Prest Sr., 83, of Lyndeborough, NH passed away on November 23, 2022. He was born August 10, 1939, in Concord, NH to parents Elmer and Ruth (Smith) Prest.
Robert graduated high school and went on to serve in the US Navy. He worked for Raytheon for over 50 years and was a senior electrical engineer. Robert was an eccentric collector and collected everything from, airplane figures, coins, pocketknives, and even national geographic magazine. He loved cars and was a gun enthusiast. He was very social and loved going out to breakfast at local diners. He was very generous and was part of many community groups. Including the Lions Club for over 25yrs.
Robert is survived by his daughters Pamela Moore, Rebecca Jolin; his brothers Leslie Prest, Andre Prest, Jeffrey Prest, Edward Prest; his grandchildren Beth Brown, Jennifer Williamson, Robert Prest, Keenen Hawkins; his great-grandchildren Nick Pierce, Brad Brown, Anna Brown, Cannon Hawkins, Zeke Hawkins, Blaine Hawkins, Sophie Hawkins; Very dear niece Shana Chauvin; as well as many dear friends.
He is predeceased by his son Robert W. Prest Jr., his brothers Allen Prest, Gregory “Danny” Prest, and Brian Prest.
Family and friends are warmly welcomed to attend a celebration of Robert’s life on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 5pm -7pm at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St Wilton, NH 03086. A burial will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery on August 10, 2023 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Robert’s name to the Wilton Lions Club.
