Ronald “Bucko” I. Desrosiers, 86, of New Ipswich, NH, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Healthcare Center in Jaffrey, NH. He was born on June 13, 1931 in Greenville, NH, the son of Omer and Olivia (Lisotte) Desrosiers.
Ronald married his wife Lucille (Fortin) Desrosiers on July 14, 1973. He served as a Sargant in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. He worked as a machine operator for 26 years for Simon & Saw in Fitchburg, MA. Ronald liked tending to his vegetable garden, he adored being outside. He enjoyed doing projects around his home. Family was extremely important to Ronald. He loved holidays and family get togethers.
Ronald is survived by his wife Lucille (Fortin) Desrosiers of New Ipswich, NH, his son Paul Desrosiers of Billerica, MA, his daughter Dianne Davis and Harold of Pembroke, NH, his brothers; Conrad Desrosiers and Anitta of Mason, NH, Kenneth Desrosiers of New Ipswich, NH, his sister Jeannen Wirthamen of Rindge, NH, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his two sons; John Desrosiers and David Desrosiers.
In lieu of flowers the family asks there to be memorial donations made to the St. Paul Vincent De Paul Food Bank Catholic Church of Greenville, NH.
Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11am followed by a military honors graveside at the Sacred Heart Cemetery New Ipswich, NH.
