Obituary for Timothy Carson
Timothy Carson, of Hancock, New Hampshire, peacefully passed away at home on August 3, 2016. Born in Pennsylvania, Tim moved to Massachusetts with his family in 1972. After service in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, Tim moved to New Hampshire. Tim traveled extensively throughout his life, in the Navy and with his family. He enjoyed exploring places in Asia, Central America, and the Caribbean, as well as the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and the Canadian Maritimes. Tim had a passion for public service. He was involved for a number of years in search and rescue with his two dogs, Blitzen and Rosie. He also trained three dogs, Blitzen, Rosie and Pesto for service as therapy dogs, visiting hospitals and nursing homes. Tim responded to both the 9/11 attacks in New York City and the Hurricane Katrina disaster as a Logistics Specialist for the federal government under the auspices of Rhode Island DMAT, a team of medical professionals part of the National Disaster Medical System. Tim will be greatly missed by his wife, Julianna Erb; his mother Rosemarie Carson; his sisters, Lynn Carson and Nancy Boyd and her husband, Dave; his brother, Fred Carson and his wife, Laura Hansen; his niece, Selena Morresi and her husband, Max and their children, Lucien and Maria; his nephews, David Czeponis, Connor and Jared Carson.
