Obituary for Lawrence R. Michaud

Lawrence Michaud passed away following a brief illness on Monday June 24, 2024.


Lawrence served in the US Army for 9 years in the HHC 65th Engineer Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. He also worked at Dow Chemical for many years before his retirement.

He was a 3rd degree black belt in Karate as well as a certified instructor, recently teaching his 10 yr. old Grandson. He loved football and was a huge Patriots fan. In his high school years, he was on the Dive team and loved swimming. He was certified in scuba diving and enjoyed it during his 3-year tour in Hawaii. He was a great cook and was recently teaching his grandson how to cook as well.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


He is survived by a son Keith Michaud of Manchester NH; a daughter Jaime Michaud of Nashua NH; a grandson Nathan Smith of Nashua NH; 3 brothers, John Michaud of Nashua, Tony Dustin of Manchester, Bill Grondin and wife Kim Grondin of Merrimack; 3 sisters Claire Gagnon, Donna Pelletier and husband Walter Pelletier, Annie Decker all of South Carolina; his lifelong best friend Keith Jeffrey of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Barbara Grondin, brothers Richie Lawrence, Gary Lemire and sister Patricia Lemire.
